They keep producing wonderful flowers for the majority of the year

They are one tough yet low maintenance flowering shrub. They clump well, produce nice evergreen foliage all year round and shoot out an abundance of gorgeous yellow flowers

About a year ago, a severe aphid colony set foot on one of our plants. We treated the aphid colony, "shaved" off the plant and waited for the clumps to grow back and here it is bigger and better than ever
.
They are nice to have because of their reliability and value in the garden and their ability to constantly bloom and re-bloom compared to a lot of other flowering shrubs that require at least some sort of maintenance and care ✅

Little DWARF BEAN flowers 😍

We went a fraction early with the planting of our little yummy dwarf beans and unfortunately some of them died and some survived and the ones that survived are starting to look good 😊

Young beans sowed from seed (as we did) can be volatile to cold spells but to be on the safe side mid October is a great time to plant them in Melbourne. You can plant them earlier but there's no guarantee they'll survive and depends where you plant them in regards to protection from cold and frost. They are cold-sensitive.

This plant will never let you down in terms of a strong vigorous vine, long flowering season and stunning beautiful deep green foliage

The only negative with a PASSIONFRUIT vine is it will require constant maintenance pruning in summer if you are containing it within a restricted space

However in cold winters pruning is not required because it doesn't grow but still retains its beautiful set of leaves 😍
