Too much nitrogen in the soil affects the amount of phosphorus that is able to be absorbed and this can create fruit that has minimal pulp, potentially dry contents and fruit of this nature often develop a large rind

Phosphorus is key to the development of functional buds but too much nitrogen creates great looking trees often with questionable qualities in fruit juice and for this reason lemon trees need a carefully well balanced feeding regime ✅
