This photo is a snapshot of one large rogue side branch. There’s more fruit on this branch but they are covered by dense leaves. The whole tree is littered with hundreds of fruit and they actually have 3 QUINCE trees which produce heavily every season
.
If this is an indication of things to come we better start researching QUINCE recipes real fast although realistically ours will not start fruiting like this for probably at least another 2 years
.
Established QUINCE trees are actually very prolific bearers of fruit and grow superbly in gardens down here in Melbourne and the added beauty with these trees are that they can grow well in shaded areas too. A must have in the home orchard ✅

LIMES galore 😍😍😍
.
This is a night-time shot of a section of the tree that is not visible to the naked eye during the day. You need to crawl low under the tree to see this amazing sight. There are more LIMES hidden under here than the visible sections of the tree. We were surprised to see this tonight

The secret to a healthy ZUCCHINI plant is sun, sun and more sun
.
There is a clear correlation between plant size verses consistency (and quality) of harvests
.
A plant deprived of a strong sun doesn’t develop and grow as vigorously. Stems are thin and frail, leaves are small, weak or distorted and growth is severely handicapped. It will become a sad looking plant
.
Keep the plants exposed to plenty of direct sunlight and their stems will grow tall, strong and upright. A ZUCCHINI needs sunlight to produce a strong crop
.
If you find that your ZUCCHINI plants are growing close to a metre high (or more!), a light prune is beneficial to remove any shade caused by too much leaf growth or overgrowth
.
Don’t forget to water them especially when they have heavily transpired in hot weather and never allow the soil to dry out
.
Taking these simple measures will ensure a vigorous plant that remains strong in the growing season prolonging its harvests ✅
