Our small potted VALENCIA ORANGE tree is slooooow growing but doing well in a pot size that should be much bigger

We’ve counted 17 oranges on the tiny small tree

First year = lots and lots of blossoms - all dropped

Second year = lots and lots of blossoms, 3 or 4 small oranges 🍊

Third year = 17 oranges and getting 💪
.
This tree has had its problems with scale infestations and sooty mould
.
A dose of aged chicken manure and organic treatment of repeat scale infestations has worked wonders on this tree
.
If this dwarf tree was in the ground right now, it would have been producing a lot more fruit but every year is a big improvement and in gardening progress is what everyone strives to see 😍😍😍

Propagating TOMATOES via cuttings is an easy and practical approach to clone and grow your favourite tomato varieties. It is also a fantastic way to overwinter cuttings in preparation for a growing season 😍

Propagating TOMATOES via seed can be a long process, sometimes stressful and it can be a costly exercise if you are buying your seeds. More so, starting a new plant from a cutting is also desirable if you’d like to clone multiple plants from the same variety and you don’t have the money or time to grow from purchased seedlings or seed
.
Cuttings can be grown in water or soil however soil borne cuttings tend to be better established. As long as you keep the soil moist in a warm or well incubated area, root cuttings will develop roots very quickly and can be transplanted in as quickly as two weeks. Compare this to plants propagated by seed that can take up to 2 months to transplant in certain climates
.
Cuttings should never be exposed to direct sunlight at this stage of their development. Keep them warm and sheltered and gradually start exposing them to direct sunlight as the plant strengthens and grows bigger
.
Not all cuttings will grow successfully. If you take a cutting, try and strip off any additional stems, flowers or buds and expose a single stem with a couple of leaves at the top
