A few weeks ago we thinned out heaps of tiny sad-looking BEETROOT seedlings that hardly had any roots on them but now they are growing beautifully supported by a great irrigation system supplied by @holmangarden

We’ve never previously had an irrigation system solely because we enjoy hand watering and perhaps we were also a bit skeptical however hand-watering does tire us out and can become a draining chore at the best of times
.
At least with this irrigation system, we can control and alter watering schedules via a quick change on a phone app and if the weekly forecast is for rain we can temporarily suspend the system and re-start it by a click of a button. We love it. No more hand watering for us at least in this irrigated section of the garden. We’ll probably look at irrigating the whole property in the future... 😍
