The good thing about growing CELERY is that it freezes superbly and still tastes relatively ok so depending on how much CELERY you grow you may find you don’t have to grow it as often especially if you freeze excess amounts as well

A young fresh CILANTRO (aka CORIANDER) seedling 🌱

In Australia, the word “CORIANDER” generally refers to the whole herb plant and its vegetative components including flowers and seed

In other parts of the world however the name “CILANTRO” is used to describe the leaves/stems you see in this photo whilst the word “CORIANDER” refers to the dried whole or ground seed of the “CILANTRO” plant that is used extensively in cooking and the production of essential oil
.
The terminology is not the only confusing part but the taste is just as confusing - you either LOVE or HATE coriander and there’s no in-between! 😂

However, to gain maximum flavour, the leaves should be picked when they are tender, aromatic and with a nice consistent green colour. We love it on our Asian dishes 😋😋😋
