TAHITIAN LIMES are ripe when they turn greenish-yellow (more yellow) and they happily fall off the tree. These may not taste the best but then again the beauty with LIMES is you can harvest them whenever you like and use them for whatever applications you desire whether it be for acidic tasting, sweet tasting, or slightly bitter tasting experiences
.
It is however best in our opinion to leave them on the tree when green and pick them whenever you need them as they keep longer on the tree than harvested unless of course you harvest them prematurely for freezing ✅

Since the solstice is the shortest part of the day, the days following the solstice will get warmer, sunnier and longer for the rest of the season and this is used by plants to predict weather patterns

If your overwintered plants like eggplants and peppers survive up to winter solstice (ours was 21st June) they are likely to survive to another happy spring season
